Mina Byck Wepper was one of the feminine presences highly appreciated of collectors in the Romanian inter war environment, when the artist was painting still life with flowers, works that she exhibited at the Official Salon and was awarded a prize for.
Mina Byck Wepper would have certainly become one of the important names of the Romanian modern art but the Holocaust experience changed her considerably, she survived but withdrew from public life, abandoned creation and entered into a cone of shadow
