Made of iron, intricate inlay work in silver and red lacquer 
This pair of Japanese stirrups is made in the traditional hato mune or dove’s breast shape 
With an open platform lined with cinnabar lacquer slightly curved forward so that the foot fits in without sliding backwards 
In the front extremity the stirrup has a rectangular buckle with signature of the manufacturer
